What is it when the front drivers side of my 1998 Nissan maxima makes an itermittent rubbing noise I turn left?

Possible causes:

* Wheel bearing: A worn wheel bearing can cause a rubbing noise when the wheel is turned. Have the wheel bearing inspected to see if it's damaged and needs to be replaced.

* Brake pads: Worn brake pads can also cause a rubbing noise when the brakes are applied. Check the brake pads for wear and have them replaced if necessary.

* CV joint: A damaged CV joint can also cause a rubbing noise when the wheel is turned. Have the CV joint inspected to see if it's damaged and needs to be replaced.

* Bent or damaged fender liner: A bent or damaged fender liner can rub against the tire when the wheel is turned, causing a rubbing noise. Check the fender liner for damage and repair or replace it as necessary.
