The crankcase drain plug on the 1992 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is located on the bottom of the engine, on the right side. It is a 17mm hex head bolt.
To drain the oil from the crankcase:
1. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug.
2. Loosen the drain plug with a 17mm wrench.
3. Allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it securely.
Note: Be sure to dispose of the old oil properly. Most auto parts stores will accept used oil for recycling.
