1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press the accelerator pedal fully down and hold it for at least 5 seconds.
3. While still holding the accelerator pedal down, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
4. Release the accelerator pedal.
5. Wait for at least 10 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition key back to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
7. The transmission shift pattern will now be reset.
Note: If the transmission shift pattern is not reset, you may experience shifting problems.
