How do you adjust the rear brakes on a 2000 Kia Sephia?

To adjust the rear brakes on a 2000 Kia Sephia:

1. Lift and support the rear axle of your vehicle with a jack.

2. Apply the parking brake.

3. Remove the wheel covers or rims from the rear wheels.

4. Locate the brake drum on the rear wheel.

5. Remove the brake drum by removing the two nuts that hold the brake drum in place.

6. Turn the brake adjuster knob with a flat-head screwdriver to adjust the brake shoes. Turn the knob clockwise until you hear a slight rubbing noise between the brake shoes and the brake drum.

7. Reinstall the brake drum and wheel covers or rims.

8. Lower your vehicle.

Repeat steps 4-7 for the other rear wheel.
