Parts:
* New alternator
* Serpentine belt
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the four 15mm bolts that secure the alternator to the engine mount bracket.
3. Remove the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner bolt and sliding the belt off of the pulleys.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the alternator.
5. Slide the alternator out of the engine bay.
6. Install the new alternator by reversing the removal procedure.
7. Reconnect the battery cable.
8. Start the engine and verify that the alternator is charging by checking the voltage at the battery with a multimeter.
