2. Locate the alarm module. On most 1999 Dodge Durangos, it is located under the driver's seat. Once you have found it, remove it from the vehicle by removing the bolts or screws that hold it in place.
3. Identify the disarm switch. This is usually a small, black button located on the side of the alarm module. Press and hold the disarm switch until the alarm system turns off.
4. Reconnect the battery. Once the alarm system has been disabled, you can reconnect the battery and the alarm system will not be turned on.
If the alarm system does not turn off after following these steps, you may need to take your vehicle to a mechanic or an auto electrician to have them disable it for you.
