2. Open the hood and locate the power steering reservoir. It is usually a clear plastic bottle with a black cap.
3. Remove the cap from the power steering reservoir.
4. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. Do this several times until you hear the power steering pump running.
5. While holding the steering wheel all the way to the right, add power steering fluid to the reservoir until it is full.
6. Replace the cap on the power steering reservoir.
7. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
8. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. Do this several times until the power steering fluid level drops below the "FULL" mark.
9. Add more power steering fluid to the reservoir until it is full.
10. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. Do this several times until the power steering fluid level does not drop below the "FULL" mark.
11. Your power steering system is now bled.
Remember to dispose of the old power steering fluid properly. It is a toxic substance that can harm the environment.
