1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Locate the clutch cable bracket on the vehicle's firewall. It is usually near the bottom of the engine compartment.
3. Loosen the locknut on the clutch cable bracket.
4. Turn the adjuster knob on the clutch cable bracket clockwise until the clutch pedal feels firm.
5. Tighten the locknut on the clutch cable bracket to secure the adjustment.
6. Test the clutch pedal by pressing it down several times. It should feel firm and have a smooth, consistent travel.
If you are not comfortable performing this adjustment yourself, it is recommended to have it done by a qualified mechanic. Improperly adjusted clutch can cause premature wear and damage to the clutch components.
