Where is the brake bleed plugs on a 1998 Dodge Caravan?

The brake bleed plugs on a 1998 Dodge Caravan are located on the brake calipers and wheel cylinders. The front brake bleed plugs are located on the top of the brake calipers, while the rear brake bleed plugs are located on the bottom of the wheel cylinders.

To access the front brake bleed plugs, you will need to remove the front wheels. Once the wheels are removed, you will see the brake calipers located behind the rotors. The brake bleed plugs are located on the top of the brake calipers.

To access the rear brake bleed plugs, you will need to raise the rear of the vehicle and support it on jack stands. Once the vehicle is raised, you will see the wheel cylinders located behind the brake drums. The brake bleed plugs are located on the bottom of the wheel cylinders.

To bleed the brakes, you will need a brake bleeder wrench and a clear hose. Attach the brake bleeder wrench to the brake bleed plug and loosen the plug. Then, attach the clear hose to the brake bleed plug and place the other end of the hose into a container of brake fluid.

Have someone press the brake pedal down and hold it down. While the brake pedal is being held down, open the brake bleed plug. This will allow the brake fluid to flow out of the caliper. Continue to pump the brake pedal and bleed the brake fluid until no more air bubbles are coming out of the hose.

Once you have finished bleeding the brakes, close the brake bleed plug and replace the wheels.
