Here are the steps to change a right front turn signal on a 1998 Dodge Dakota:

1. Park your Dakota in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood of your truck.

3. Locate the turn signal bulb socket on the right side of the front of the vehicle.

4. Remove the light socket cover by turning the socket to a counter-clockwise rotation and pull the socket out toward the front of the truck.

5. Remove the old turn signal bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out of the socket.

6. Insert the new turn signal bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.

7. Replace the light socket cover by pushing it into place and twisting the base clockwise to lock it in place.

8. Close the hood of the vehicle.
