- Replacement speed sensor

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Turn Off Engine and Raise the Vehicle:
- Allow the engine to cool down completely and turn off the ignition.
- Jack up the front of the vehicle. Be sure to properly place jack stands under the appropriate points for support before getting underneath the vehicle.
2. Locate the Speed Sensor:
- The speed sensor is usually located on the transmission near the wheel. It's a small, cylindrical sensor with a connector attached.
3. Disconnect the Electrical Connector:
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the locking tab of the electrical connector attached to the speed sensor.
- Pull the connector straight out to disconnect it from the sensor.
4. Remove the Speed Sensor:
- Use a 10mm socket wrench to loosen and remove the bolt holding the speed sensor in place.
- Pull the sensor straight out of its housing. Be careful not to drop it.
5. Install the New Speed Sensor:
- Align the new speed sensor with its housing and insert the sensor straight in until it's seated properly.
- Insert the bolt and tighten it securely with the 10mm socket wrench.
6. Reconnect the Electrical Connector:
- Align the connector with the speed sensor and push it in firmly until it locks in place. Make sure the connector is secure.
7. Lower the Vehicle:
- Remove the jack stands and carefully lower the vehicle to the ground.
8. Test the Speed Sensor:
- Start the engine and take a short drive. Your speedometer should now be working correctly.
