Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any electrical shock while you are working on the window motor.
2. Remove the door panel. There are a few screws that hold the door panel in place. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove these screws. Once the screws are removed, you can use a flathead screwdriver to pry the door panel off. Be careful not to damage the door panel.
3. Locate the window motor. The window motor is located inside the door, behind the door panel. It is usually attached to the door frame with three bolts.
4. Remove the bolts that hold the window motor in place. Use a socket set and ratchet to remove the bolts.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor. The electrical connector is located on the back of the window motor. Use a flathead screwdriver to disconnect the connector.
6. Remove the window motor from the door. Once the bolts are removed and the electrical connector is disconnected, you can remove the window motor from the door.
Installation
To install the window motor, simply reverse the steps that you took to remove it. Be sure to connect the electrical connector and tighten the bolts securely.
Test
Once the window motor is installed, test it to make sure that it is working properly. Roll the window up and down several times to make sure that it moves smoothly. If the window does not move properly, check the electrical connections and make sure that the bolts are tightened securely.
