* Use a wrench to loosen the negative battery cable.
* Disconnect the battery cable from the battery post.
2. Drain the coolant.
* Place a drain pan under the radiator.
* Open the radiator drain plug.
* Drain the coolant from the radiator.
* Close the radiator drain plug.
3. Remove the water pump.
* Remove the bolts that hold the water pump to the engine block.
* Remove the water pump from the engine block.
4. Install a new water pump.
* Place a gasket between the water pump and the engine block.
* Install the new water pump onto the engine block.
* Tighten the bolts that hold the water pump to the engine block.
5. Refill the coolant.
* Remove the radiator cap.
* Fill the radiator with coolant until it is full.
6. Connect the battery.
* Connect the battery cable to the battery post.
* Tighten the battery cable.
