2. Check the alternator wiring. Make sure the alternator wiring is clean and free of corrosion. If the wiring is damaged or corroded, it will not be able to carry the current necessary to charge the battery.
3. Check the voltage regulator. The voltage regulator is responsible for controlling the alternator's output voltage. If the voltage regulator is faulty, it will not be able to properly regulate the alternator's output voltage and the battery will not charge.
4. Check the battery. Make sure the battery is in good condition and has a full charge. If the battery is old or damaged, it will not be able to hold a charge and the tractor will not start.
5. Have the electrical system tested by a qualified mechanic. If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the electrical system yourself, you can have it tested by a qualified mechanic. The mechanic will be able to identify any problems with the system and make the necessary repairs.
