1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Chock the wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
3. Locate the parking brake cable adjustment nut. It is located on the underside of the truck, near the rear axle.
4. Use a wrench to turn the adjustment nut clockwise until the parking brake lever can be raised to its highest position.
5. Test the parking brake by releasing the lever and then trying to roll the vehicle. The parking brake should hold the vehicle in place.
6. If necessary, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the parking brake is adjusted properly.
Note: If the parking brake is not holding the vehicle in place, it may be necessary to replace the parking brake shoes or cables.
