How do you reset the brake light on a Land Rover Discovery II?

There are two ways to reset the brake light on a Land Rover Discovery II.

Brake Assist Mode

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.

2. Press and hold the brake pedal for at least 10 seconds.

3. Release the brake pedal.

4. The brake light should be reset.

OBDII Scan Tool

1. Connect the OBDII scan tool to your Land Rover's diagnostic port.

2. Turn on the scan tool and select the "Brake" menu.

3. Find the "Reset Brake Light" option and select it.

4. Follow the prompts on the scan tool to reset the brake light.
