How do you reset the radio in a 2008 c70 Volvo if it need code?

If your 2008 Volvo C70's radio needs a code, follow these steps to reset it:

Ensure the radio is working. If the radio does not turn on, check the fuse for the radio in the fuse box. If the fuse is blown, replace it.

Press and hold the power button on the radio for at least five seconds. The radio will display the message CODE, and the preset station buttons will flash.

Enter the four-digit code using the preset station buttons. The first number is entered by pressing the appropriate preset station button once, the second number is entered by pressing the appropriate preset station button twice, and so on.

Once the code has been entered, press and hold the power button again for at least two seconds. The radio will display the message CODE ACCEPTED, and the preset station buttons will stop flashing.

If you do not have the four-digit code for your radio, you can obtain it by contacting your local Volvo dealership. You will need to provide them with the VIN number for your vehicle and proof of ownership.

Additional Information

The radio code is usually found on a sticker in the glove box or on the inside of the radio faceplate.

If the code has been entered incorrectly three times, the radio will lock and you will need to contact your local Volvo dealership for assistance.
