1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any damage to the car's electrical system.
2. Remove the old stereo housing. This can be done by removing the screws that hold the housing in place and then pulling the housing out.
3. Remove the radio cradle. Once the housing is removed, the radio cradle will be exposed. Remove the screws that hold the cradle in place and then pull the cradle out.
4. Disconnect the radio cables. There are three cables that connect the radio to the car's electrical system. These are the power cable, the ground cable, and the speaker cables. Disconnect these cables by unplugging them from the radio.
5. Install the new radio. Place the new radio into the cradle and secure it in place with the screws you removed earlier.
6. Reconnect the radio cables. Plug the power cable, the ground cable, and the speaker cables into the new radio.
7. Install the new stereo housing. Slide the new stereo housing back into place and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
8. Reconnect the battery. The radio is now installed and ready to use.
