How do you reset the service indicator on a Mercedes sprinter 311 van?

Step 1: Start the engine but don't start driving.

Step 2: Press and hold down the button "0.0/Set" on the dashboard. Press and hold down this button for about 5-10 seconds until the display counts from "3" to "0" and then shows "0.0".

Step 3: Continue holding the button and at the same time, turn the ignition switch key to the OFF position.

Step 4: When the display panel goes black, let go of the "0.0/Set" button.

Step 5: Turn the ignition key to start the engine.

The service reset is now complete. The service display has now been reset and will show the next service interval.
