To reset the computer on a 1999 Suburban:

1. Turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.

2. Locate the "PCM" (Powertrain Control Module) fuse in the fuse box under the hood.

3. Remove the PCM fuse using the fuse puller tool provided in the fuse box cover.

4. Wait for at least 10 seconds.

5. Reinsert the PCM fuse.

6. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.

7. Wait for approximately 30 seconds for the computer to reset.

8. Start the engine.
