1. Gather your tools.
You will need the following tools:
- A new parking light bulb
- A Phillips-head screwdriver
- A flat-head screwdriver
2. Turn off the parking lights and headlights.
This will prevent you from accidentally turning on the lights while you are working on the bulb.
3. Open the hood of your vehicle.
Locate the hood release lever inside your vehicle and pull it to open the hood.
4. Locate the front parking light fixture.
The parking light fixtures are located on the front of your vehicle, one on each side. They are typically located in the corner of the headlight housing or just below it.
5. Remove the parking light fixture.
Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the parking light fixture in place. Then, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry the parking light fixture out of the housing.
6. Remove the old bulb.
Turn the old bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
7. Install the new bulb.
Align the tabs on the new bulb with the slots in the socket and turn the bulb clockwise until it is snug.
8. Reinstall the parking light fixture.
Press the parking light fixture back into the housing and secure it with the screw.
9. Close the hood of your vehicle.
Your front parking light bulb has now been replaced.
