Step 1: Gather the necessary tools.
You will need:
- A screwdriver
- A flat-head screwdriver
- A 6-mm Allen key
Step 2: Locate the immobilizer unit.
The immobilizer unit is located on the driver's side of the car, behind the dashboard.
Step 3: Remove the immobilizer unit.
Use the screwdriver and the flat-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the immobilizer unit in place.
Step 4: Disconnect the immobilizer unit.
Use the 6-mm Allen key to disconnect the immobilizer unit from the rest of the car's wiring.
Step 5: Reset the immobilizer unit.
Press and hold the reset button on the immobilizer unit for at least 10 seconds.
Step 6: Reconnect the immobilizer unit.
Reattach the immobilizer unit to the car's wiring using the 6-mm Allen key.
Step 7: Reinstall the immobilizer unit.
Replace the screws that hold the immobilizer unit in place using the screwdriver and the flat-head screwdriver.
Step 8: Test the immobilizer.
Start the car to verify that the immobilizer has been reset.
