- Replacement Headlight Bulb (H7 type)
- Flathead screwdriver
- Pliers
Instructions:
1. Park the vehicle and let the engine cool down.
2. Open the hood of the car.
3. Locate the headlight assembly.
- It is located behind the plastic cover on the front bumper.
4. Remove the plastic cover.
- Use the flathead screwdriver and pliers to pry open the plastic cover tabs and hinges.
5. Disconnect the headlight bulb connector.
- Twist the connector counter clockwise and pull it straight out.
6. Remove the old headlight bulb.
- Press down on the metal spring tab and pull the old bulb straight out of the housing.
7. Install the new headlight bulb.
- Align the new bulb with the socket and push it into place.
8. Secure the metal spring tab.
- Press down on the metal spring tab to secure the new bulb in place.
9. Reconnect the headlight bulb connector.
- Twist the connector clockwise until it is secure.
10. Replace the plastic cover.
- Snap the plastic cover back into place.
11. Test the new headlight bulb.
-Turn on the headlights and verify that the new bulb is working properly.
12. Close the hood of the car.
