1. Gather your tools.
• OBD-II scanner
• Wrench or socket set
2. Pull over to a safe location.
• Turn off your engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hood of your Saab 900S.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
• Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Start your engine.
• Allow your engine to idle for at least 30 seconds.
6. Turn off your engine.
7. Connect your OBD-II scanner to your Saab 900S.
8. Follow the instructions on your scanner to reset the check engine light.
9. Disconnect your OBD-II scanner.
10. Close the hood of your Saab 900S.
