1. Make sure the engine is cool.
2. Place an oil pan under the oil filter.
3. If desired, remove the battery and battery tray to provide better access.
4. Use a 17mm wrench or socket to loosen the oil filter.
5. Remove the old oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.
6. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
7. Screw the new oil filter onto the oil filter housing.
8. Tighten the oil filter until it is snug.
9. Top up the oil at the filler plug.
10. Start the engine and check for any leaks.
