What is a vsa on Honda Civic?

The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) on Honda Civic is a feature designed to help control the car's trajectory in case it starts to lose control. It employs a range of sensors to monitor vehicle speed, wheel rotation, steering angle and lateral acceleration. When it senses that vehicle is unstable or about to lose traction, VSA responds by applying appropriate brake force to individual wheels and altering the engine output in order to assist in maintaining control of the vehicle. It aids the driver in maintaining the intended direction, keeping the car stable and enhancing overall safety during tricky driving situations, such as driving on slippery roads or performing sudden manoeuvres.
