What age must children be to sit in front seat of car NJ?

According to New Jersey law, children under the age of 8 years old must be restrained in a child restraint system in any seating position in a motor vehicle. Children who are 8 years of age or older but under the age of 18 years must be restrained in a seat belt while in the front seat of a motor vehicle.
