First Generation (A40/A50/A60/A70):
* 1978 - 1986: This generation was known as the Celica Supra, and it featured a coupe body style with a 2.6L inline-six engine.
Second Generation (A80):
* 1993 - 2002: This generation was simply called the Supra, and it featured a sportier and more powerful design with a 3.0L inline-six engine.
There was a gap in production from 1987 to 1992.
Important note:
* The Toyota Supra was not produced after 2002.
* A new generation (A90) was released in 2019, but it's considered a separate model, though it carries the Supra nameplate.
