* Passenger side, near the front bumper: This is the most common location. Look low on the front of the passenger side of the radiator, often tucked up near the bumper or the frame. The cord may be hanging down, or it might be secured with a clip.
* Driver side, near the front bumper: Less common, but possible. Check the same area as above, but on the driver's side.
* Under the hood: In rare cases, the cord might be routed up into the engine bay. This is less likely but worth checking if you can't find it elsewhere.
To make finding it easier:
* Look for a heavy-duty cord: The block heater cord is usually thicker and more durable than other wires under the vehicle.
* Check the owner's manual: Your owner's manual should have a diagram showing the location of the block heater cord.
* Use a flashlight: It can be hard to see under the truck, especially in low light.
* Feel around: Carefully run your hand along the front of the truck's undercarriage, feeling for the cord.
