Where is the starter on a Chevy Lumina 1995?

On a 1995 Chevy Lumina, the starter is located on the passenger side (right side) of the engine, generally towards the bottom and somewhat behind the engine. Access usually requires working from underneath the vehicle. You'll likely need to remove some components (like the exhaust shield or possibly parts of the engine cradle) to fully access it. Because of its location and the obstructions, it is generally considered a more difficult starter to replace than on some other vehicles.
