Where is the location of AC expansion valve for a 1996 Chevy Blazer S10?

The AC expansion valve on a 1996 Chevy S10 Blazer is located inside the evaporator housing, under the dashboard. It's not easily accessible without removing significant parts of the dashboard. You won't see it from under the hood or in the engine bay. This is a job best left to an experienced automotive AC technician.
