How do you replace ac fan 2000 Pontiac grand am?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Replacement AC fan

- 10mm socket wrench

- Flathead screwdriver

- Pry bar (optional)

Instructions:

1. Open the hood of your Pontiac Grand Am and disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will prevent any electrical accidents from happening while you are working.

2. Locate the AC fan assembly. It is usually located in front of the radiator.

3. Use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts that hold the AC fan assembly in place. There are usually three or four bolts on each side of the fan.

4. Once the bolts are removed, you can disconnect the electrical connector on the side or back of the fan and pry it gently out of the housing using a flathead screwdriver or pry bar (if necessary). Set the AC fan aside.

5. Install the new AC fan assembly in reverse order of removal. Make sure that you reconnect the electrical connector and reinsert the mounting bolts securely.

6. Reconnect the negative battery terminal and put everything back in its original places.

Remember that if this job seems more challenging, don't hesitate to consult with a qualified professional instead.
