Materials Needed:
Replacement battery (CR2032)
Small flat-head screwdriver
Instructions:
Locate the Key Fob: The keyless remote for your 2003 Volkswagen Beetle is typically located on your key ring.
Open the Key Fob: Use the small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob. Be careful not to damage the plastic housing.
Remove the Old Battery: Once the key fob is open, you should see the old battery. Use the screwdriver to carefully remove the old battery.
Insert the New Battery: Take the new CR2032 battery and insert it into the key fob, making sure that the positive side (+) of the battery is facing upwards.
Close the Key Fob: After inserting the new battery, close the key fob by pressing the two halves together until they snap shut.
