How do you unfreeze parking brake with disc brakes?

To unfreeze parking brake with disc brakes, follow these steps:

1. Start your car and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the engine. This will help to melt any ice or snow that may be blocking the parking brake mechanism.

2. Turn off the engine and apply the parking brake.

3. Get out of your car and open the hood.

4. Locate the parking brake cable. It is usually a metal cable that runs from the parking brake lever to the rear wheels.

5. Follow the parking brake cable to the rear of the car.

6. You will see a small metal box attached to the parking brake cable. This is the parking brake actuator.

7. Use a screwdriver or wrench to loosen the bolts that hold the parking brake actuator in place.

8. Once the bolts are loose, you can remove the parking brake actuator.

9. Inspect the parking brake actuator. If it is frozen, you will need to thaw it out. You can do this by pouring warm water over it or by using a hair dryer.

10. Once the parking brake actuator is thawed out, you can reinstall it.

11. Tighten the bolts that hold the parking brake actuator in place.

12. Get back in your car and release the parking brake.

The parking brake should now be unfrozen. If it is still not working, you may need to take your car to a mechanic.
