1. Stop your vehicle in a safe location.
2. Set your parking brake.
3.Shift the transmission into neutral.
4.Push in or pull up the front hubs as needed depending on your model until they extend completely.
5. Turn off the engine.
6. Pull the 4WD lever on the floor towards the front of the truck.
7. Place your parking brake back in the off position.
8. Start your engine and you will be in 4WD.
9. To exit four wheel drive, repeat the above procedure but do not turn the engine off. Instead, ensure the transmission is in neutral, parking brake is on, and then shift the 4WD lever toward the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle should now be in 2WD.
10. Retract the front wheel hubs.
