How are Chrysler electrical connectors disconnected?

1. Identify the connector. The electrical connector will be located near the component it is connected to. It will usually be a black or gray plastic housing with a number of wires coming out of it.

2. Press the release tab. There will be a small tab on the side of the connector. Press this tab down and hold it down.

3. Pull the connector apart. While holding down the release tab, pull the connector apart. The connector should come apart easily.

4. Disconnect the wires. Once the connector is apart, you can disconnect the wires. To do this, simply pull the wires out of the connector housing.
