How do you fill up a natural gas fueled car?

1. Find a natural gas fueling station. These are becoming more common, but they are still not as common as gasoline stations. You can find a list of natural gas fueling stations near you by using the Alternative Fueling Station Locator.

2. Pull up to the pump and turn off your engine.

3. Get out of your car and open the fuel door.

4. Insert the nozzle into the fuel tank. The nozzle for a natural gas fuel tank is different from the nozzle for a gasoline fuel tank. Make sure that you are using the correct nozzle.

5. Turn on the pump and select the amount of fuel you want to purchase.

6. Wait for the pump to finish fueling your car.

7. Turn off the pump and remove the nozzle from the fuel tank.

8. Close the fuel door and get back in your car.

9. Start your car and drive away.
