1. Open the hood of the vehicle.
2. Locate the plastic cover on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the plastic cover by pressing the release button and lifting it off.
4. The battery will be located under the plastic cover.
5. The battery is secured with a hold-down clamp. Release the hold-down clamp by turning the knob counterclockwise.
6. Remove the battery by lifting it out of the vehicle.
