- Flat-head screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
- 13mm socket wrench
- Torque wrench
- New ignition coils (4)
Instructions:
1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the ignition coils. They are located on top of the engine, near the spark plugs.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
5. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the bolts that hold the ignition coils in place.
6. Remove the old ignition coils.
7. Install the new ignition coils.
8. Replace the bolts that hold the ignition coils in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
9. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the ignition coils.
10. Close the hood of your car.
Tips:
- Be careful not to drop the ignition coils. They are fragile and can easily be damaged.
- If you are unsure about how to change the ignition coils, consult with a qualified mechanic.
