2. Locate the engine block. It is the large metal block in the center of the engine compartment.
3. Find the exhaust manifold. It is the curved metal tube that connects the engine to the exhaust system.
4. The EGR valve is located on the exhaust manifold. It is a small, round metal device with a vacuum hose attached to it.
5. To remove the EGR valve, disconnect the vacuum hose and then use a wrench to loosen the bolts that hold it in place.
6. Once the bolts are loose, you can remove the EGR valve from the exhaust manifold.
