Obstruction of repossession of vehicle.
(a) A person commits an offense if the person prevents or hinders the rightful repossession of a vehicle by engaging in any of the following conduct with the intent to prevent or hinder repossession:
(1) Hiding or concealing the vehicle; or
(2) Disabling or immobilizing the vehicle by removing, damaging or disconnecting a part of the vehicle.
(b) Obstruction of repossession of a vehicle is a Class C misdemeanor.
