Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling up on the front edge of the cushion and lifting it out.
3. Remove the access panel from the top of the fuel tank by removing the Phillips screws holding it in place.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel level sending unit and loosen the 5/8-inch nuts that hold the sending unit in place.
5. Remove the sending unit from the fuel tank.
6. Apply a thin bead of fuel tank sealant to the gasket of the new sending unit.
7. Insert the new sending unit into the fuel tank and tighten the 5/8-inch nuts.
8. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel level sending unit.
9. Replace the access panel and rear seat cushion.
10. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
