Instructions
1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to avoid any electrical accidents.
2. Locate the fuel injection pump. It is usually located on the side of the engine.
3. Disconnect the fuel lines. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the fuel lines off of the fuel injection pump.
4. Remove the fuel filter. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the fuel filter.
5. Remove the fuel injection pump. Use a ratchet and socket set to remove the bolts that hold the fuel injection pump in place.
6. Install the new fuel injection pump. Use the same bolts to secure the new pump in place.
7. Install the new fuel filter. Use a new fuel filter to ensure that the fuel injection pump is not damaged by any contaminants in the fuel.
8. Reconnect the fuel lines. Use new fuel line clamps to secure the fuel lines in place.
9. Disconnect the fluid pump.
10. Reconnect the battery.
11. Prime the fuel injection pump. This is done by turning the key to the "ON" position and then back off again. This will help to ensure that the pump is properly primed and ready to go.
12. Start the engine. The engine should start normally and run without any issues.
