1. Disconnect the battery.
* This will prevent any electrical accidents from happening while you are working on the car.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
* The air cleaner assembly is located on top of the engine. It is held in place by a few bolts.
3. Remove the vacuum hoses from the brake booster.
* There are two vacuum hoses that connect the brake booster to the engine. Disconnect these hoses.
4. Remove the brake lines from the brake booster.
* There are two brake lines that connect the brake booster to the master cylinder. Disconnect these lines.
5. Remove the brake booster mounting bolts.
* The brake booster is mounted to the firewall by four bolts. Remove these bolts.
6. Remove the brake booster from the car.
* The brake booster can now be removed from the car.
7. Install the new brake booster.
* Reverse the steps above to install the new brake booster.
8. Bleed the brakes.
* Once the new brake booster is installed, you will need to bleed the brakes. This will remove any air from the brake system.
9. Reconnect the battery.
* Once the brakes are bled, you can reconnect the battery.
