1. Locate the heater core inlet and outlet hoses. These are usually located on the firewall near the engine.
2. Disconnect the heater core inlet hose from the engine.
3. Disconnect the heater core outlet hose from the heater core.
4. Connect the heater core inlet hose directly to the heater core outlet hose. This will bypass the heater core.
5. Refill the cooling system with coolant.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for leaks.
If there are no leaks, the heater core is successfully bypassed.
