How do you remove and replace the power steering hose on a Buick Riviera?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Replacement power steering hose

- Hose clamps

- Pliers

- Screwdriver

- Drain pan

- Wrench

Instructions:

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.

2. Open the hood of your vehicle.

3. Locate the power steering hose. It is typically connected to the power steering pump and the steering rack.

4. Place a drain pan under the hose to catch any leaking fluid.

5. Use a screwdriver to pry open the hose clamps that secure the power steering hose.

6. Slide the hose clamps off the hose.

7. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts that secure the power steering hose to the power steering pump and the steering rack.

8. Remove the power steering hose from the vehicle.

9. Install the new power steering hose in the reverse order of removal. Make sure to tighten the hose clamps and bolts securely.

10. Fill the power steering fluid reservoir with the recommended type of fluid.

11. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks.

12. Close the hood of your vehicle.
