1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Locate the camshaft position sensor on the front of the engine, near the top. It is a small, black sensor with a single wire connector.
3. Disconnect the wire connector from the sensor.
4. Remove the two bolts that hold the sensor in place.
5. Remove the sensor from the engine.
6. Inspect the sensor for damage or wear. If the sensor is damaged, replace it with a new one.
7. Reverse the above steps to install the new sensor.
