- Check the fuse associated with the heater blower motor. If it has blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
Blower Motor Resistor:
- The blower motor resistor regulates the speed of the blower motor. If it fails, the blower motor may not work at all, or it may only work on high speed.
- Check the blower motor resistor and replace if it is damaged.
Blower Motor:
- If the fuse and blower motor resistor are both good, the blower motor itself may be defective. To test the blower motor:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the blower motor.
2. Use a multimeter to check for continuity between the blower motor's terminals.
3. If there is no continuity, the blower motor is defective and must be replaced.
Climate Control Module:
- The climate control module controls the operation of the blower motor. If the climate control module fails, the blower motor may not work at all, or it may not work properly.
- If you suspect that the climate control module may be faulty, have it diagnosed and repaired or replaced if necessary.
