1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the fuel injection system. It is typically located on the top of the engine and consists of several fuel injectors and fuel lines.
3. Follow the fuel lines from the fuel injectors to the fuel rail. The FPR is located at the end of the fuel rail, near the throttle body.
4. The FPR is a small, cylindrical device with two or three fuel connections. It may have a vacuum hose attached to it as well.
Additional Tips:
- If you're having trouble locating the FPR, refer to your vehicle's repair manual or consult with a qualified mechanic.
- Be sure to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before performing any work on the fuel system.
- Use fuel line wrenches to loosen and tighten fuel line connections. Regular wrenches can damage the fuel lines.
