2.Follow the brake pedal upwards with your eyes until near the top you see the brake light switch. It is a small box with a plunger that gets pushed in when you press the brake pedal.
3.To replace the switch, depress the tab on the electrical connector and pull it off the switch. Then unbolt the switch by turning it counterclockwise.
4.Take the new switch and screw it in the same way the old one came off, turning it clockwise until it is tight.
5.Plug in the electrical connector.
That is all you have to do to change the brake light switch for a 1995 Toyota Corolla.
